Each day people lose between 50 to 100 strands of hair (American Academy of Dermatology). There are several ways to identify if your hair loss is normal or if it is falling at a high rate. First, make sure to check your pillow in the morning when you wake up. When you brush your hair check your comb for an unusually amount of strands falling out.
