2 c. water
3 Tbsp. salt
Sauce
1 pt. sour cream
1/4 c. vinegar
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. half n half
1/2 cup minced onion
Peel and slice cucumber. Soak overnight in salt water. Drain and rinse. Mix vinegar and sugar to taste. Add cream. Beat in sour cream. Add cucumbers. Best if allowed to stand in refrigerator for a day before serving. Can also add dill and/or black pepper to taste. Makes 4 servings.
