One Legged Dumbbell Calf Raise

Grab a dumbbell in one hand and place the ball of your foot on that same side on a calf block or step. Hold on to something for balance with your opposite hand as you begin with the heel of your working leg below the level of the surface you're standing on. Next, press up as high as you can on to the ball of your foot and hold for a second at the top.  Pause, lower, and repeat.
