The show will actually start airing its newest season on September 16. This season of The Biggest Loser will feature families. Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels are the personal trainers for the show. Jillian will have the teams that are comprised of a parent and child. Bob will have the teams of husbands losing weight with their wives. Every week a pair will be eliminated. Like any other reality show, The Biggest Loser features a host and the contestants living in seclusion from the rest of the world. Because of this and the fact that each team is assigned a trainer, the contestants get ample opportunity to work out and they lose tons of weight on this show. It’s not uncommon for many of the contestants to lose weight in the double digits each week at the weigh in.

Whether you’re overweight or not, it can be inspiring to take part in seeing the progress people are making each week to lose weight. People find it entertaining to see how strangers react to situations when they constantly have a camera in their face. Watching a group of people lose weight can be very inspiring and seeing their constant progress can make you proud.
